Date: May 18, 2010 CommentsJust took delivery of my 89 SE this past week. The purchase through Ted went very smooth. He provides a great service to those of us looking to purchase a Vixen, and for the seller as well. He was always prompt with replys to my inquiries for information. We couldn't be more pleased with our purchase. Steve Date: May 18, 2010 CommentsTed, we think that your web-site is attractive and with all the available pictures also very informative, and that it serves the purpose of buying or selling the particular VIXEN-RV's well. Combined with your your specific knowledge and great personality, there is no better match for the job that we could imagine. Since we bought from you and half a decade later sold thru you, confirms that. You are a swell and likeable guy to deal with effectively. Gerhard and Marita Date: May 22, 2010 CommentsWhat really happened to this rv company? Today this sounds ideal for what we need to travel in economy wise...Gerrish Island, Maine. Maybe this concept should be looked at again... Date: June 05, 2010 CommentsRE: whatever happened to this RV company(?) oh well, its like this ... The Vixen could NOT be manufactured today, the idiot Bureaucrats would demand adherence to legislated "engineering" and some number of the coaches would have to be sacrificed to the deity of crash testing, in addition to mandated safety gear (etc....) could not be done today. so sad! Repent the end is near! Thank you Dr. Stephens for your dedication. Helpful, but missing, would be the opportunity to post a few questions. For example, would it be a cliffhanger experience to take this vehicle on an extended 12 month trip all across the nation, and what does the mechanically un-inclined do if/when this beauty develops a heart attack. Date: November 07, 2010 CommentsHi Ted, If everything goes as planned, we should have a sale on Friday. I am picking Mr. Donovan up at the airport. We agreed to $25,500 as the sale price "as is." Jack & Nancy Pahoa (The Big Island) Hawaii. This site is what this brand needed. Thanks. Date: April 26, 2011 CommentsTed, Thanks for selling me the two panels. Today, I connected each panel to a solar controller and a 12 volt battery to determine what output I could expect if they were mounted on top of my trailer. Each panel produced 3.25 amps at the highest position of the sun (1:30 pm) and with the panel in the flat (0 deg. tilt) orientation. This was better than I expected.
